Hallelujah. Are you there? When you reach there
please signify by saying amen. Look at verse three.
3. And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought
of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
4. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and
of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and
to his offering:
5. But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And
Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
6. And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and
why is thy countenance fallen?
7. If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou
doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his
desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
Let us pray.
Most holy and gracious heavenly Father, we thank You for
who You are and for what You do. Father, hide Your son
behind the cross that Your people would see You and not me.
Dear Lord, as I decrease I ask that You would increase. Let
the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be
acceptable in Thy sight, oh Lord, my strength and my
Redeemer. In Jesus’ holy and Blessed Name. Amen.
You may be seated in the house of God this morning. Thank
You, Lord.
And in verse six he said,
6. And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and
why is thy countenance fallen?
7. If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou
doest not well, sin lieth at the door...
For Cain to master the sin lurking at the entrance to his
desires, he would have to give up his jealous anger, so that sin
could not get a foothold into his life.
There are doors (glory to God) that lead (glory to God) into
places into our lives. When we look at Psalms 141 and verse
3, the psalmist said, “Put a watch over my tongue and keep
the door of my lips.” And I began to ask, “Why, God, did he
pray this prayer?” Because even our mouths are a door.
We look at the book of James chapter three and verse eight. It
tells us that inside of this door is an evil, an unruly evil.
Glory to God.
There are many doors that open up entrances into our lives.
When we look at what a door is, it is a barrier by which an
entrance is closed and opened.
Many of us have opened doors in our lives (glory to God) that
has caused us to live lives that seem as though we have a
curse upon our lives. But if we would only go back and try to
look at and recognize and see and pinpoint, “Where did I open
up this door,” then I’ll be able to close this door.
When Jesus went to the cross, the Bible said He took all of the
curses for us. All of our curses were nailed to the cross. In
other words, the door to curses that would try to come into
our lives was closed.
But why are there so many of us in the body of Christ that it
seems as though our lives are nothing but a curse? It’s
because we’ve allowed Satan an entrance into our lives.
What door do you have open?
God told Cain, He said, “Sin lieth at the door.” In other
words, “You are making an entrance for the gates of hell to
prevail against you.”
You see, many of us in the body of Christ, we don’t realize
that there’s an open heaven. The doors of heaven are open to
us. And the gates of hell are not supposed to prevail against
us. But why are the very gates and the doors of hell
prevailing against us? The Bible says, “Because My people
are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.”
You see, many of us don’t even understand and realize that
we have opened up these doors, through things that we have
said, through things that we have done, through people we
have come in contact with. We open up doors for Satan to
gain entrance into our lives.
But once I understand that He has given me power to tread
upon serpents and scorpions, every door that Satan came in is
the very door that he got to get out of, in the Name of Jesus.
And shut the door behind him. And don’t let him in no more.
You better give God some praise today.
Satan can only come in when we let him in. Satan... I need to
say that again. Satan can only come in when we let him in.
The Bible says my body is a temple of the Holy Ghost. And
greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world. I’ve the
greater than on the inside of me. Satan has nothing in me,
unless I give him entrance into my life.
When God says, “I’ve opened the door,” He’s saying, “I’ve
given you access.” Look at your neighbor and say, “I have
access.”
When we look at the word “access,” it means the right or the
ability to approach or enter in. You see, you and I have a
right to enter into eternal life. But Satan no longer has a right
to enter into your life, except you and I allow him access.
In the book of John chapter ten and verse nine, Jesus said, “I
am the door. And by Me if any man enter in, he shall be
saved, and shall go in and out and find pasture. You have
access to eternal life. And I have given you the right to enter
in.” You have the right to the Tree of Life.
In Ephesians two and verse eighteen it says, “For through
Him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.” We
have access. There’s a door that has been open unto us that
we can have access to the Father through communication in
prayer.
But the thing is we’ve got to get rid of Satan at the door.
We’ve got to stop letting Satan... And you don’t want to hear
me today.
You see, these fleshly desires will cause me to let Satan in.
You see, my desires will cause me, my fleshly desires will
cause me to open up a door and say, “Satan, come on right
now. But you can only stay for a little while.” But once
Satan get a foothold in, he’s going to make a stronghold.
Once he get a stronghold... My God. Who am I preaching to
today?
I’ll constantly be depressed. I’ll constantly walk around,
“Woe is me.” But I’m the one that let him in.
Even in the house of God, the Bible said in the book of
Revelation that Satan had a seat in the pulpit. You don’t want
to hear me. You see, the only way Satan can have access into
the house of God is if we let him through the door. You don’t
want to talk to me today. But I’m going to preach anyhow.
If I allow Satan to come in, Satan is going to make his seat in
the house of God. He doesn’t care where he makes his place,
if we let him in. Access, entrances into our lives.
Many of the saints of God don’t even realize it, but when
they’ve gone to palm readers... You don’t want to talk to me
today. When they were little and they played with these little
wiji boards.. You don’t want to talk to me. See, they allowed
entrance for Satan to come into their lives.
You see, things that seem harmless are able to destroy me.
But see, I’ve got to go back. And I got to find out where the
root of the problem came from.
It’s just like generational curses. There were doors that were
opened in our lives, even when we were born. But we have
the ability and the power to bind the strong man in the Name
of Jesus. He doesn’t have to stay there unless I allow him to
stay there.
But just because there are doors that are good that are open in
our lives, it does not mean that there will not be adversity.
You see, just because God opens up a door for you, it doesn’t
mean that there will not be adversity.
In First Corinthians sixteen and nine Paul said there was a
great door, and effectual is open unto me. And there are
many adversaries.
You see, even when God opens up a door for you, there’s
going to be warfare inside of that door. You’re not going to
just come waltzing in that door. The devil’s going to try to
stop you. He’s going to try to make you think that God didn’t
open up the door.
Paul said, “I know I’m going through this door.” But he said,
“I know there’s warfare.”
Lift up your hands to Jesus today.
See, you might be going through that door today. But I’m
going to tell you something, child of God. There’s going to
be warfare.
When God tells you about that open door, your adversary, the
devil, wants to war at you, to make you turn around and go
back out that door, and make you miss the blessing and the
promises of God that He has for your life. Oh, somebody
hear what I’m talking about now. He’ll try to cause you to
lose access to the promises that were promised to you.
You see, the only way you’ll lose out on the promises is if
you’re afraid of the fight. You see, many of us are afraid of
confrontation. But see, you cannot be afraid of confrontation
and get your blessing too. Who am I preaching to today?
You see, you can’t be afraid to confront the devil. You can’t
be afraid to tell the devil to get thee hence behind you in the
Name of Jesus. Sometimes you got to look the person in the
face who got the devil operating in them, and say, “Get thee
hence behind me in the Name of Jesus.”
You can’t be afraid of confrontation. Saints of God, you and I
have access. God opened the door to the promised land for
the children of Israel in Numbers thirteen. Go there with me.
Numbers chapter thirteen. We’re going to look at verse one.
1. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2. Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan,
which I give unto the children of Israel...
Now God spoke. He said, “I have given it to them.” And we
all know the story. And there were evil reports that came
back, except for two by Joshua and Caleb. You see, because
when you look into the thing you may see the blessing. But
now only will you see the blessing. You’re going to see the
warfare. Oh, my God, my God. You’re not going to see one
without the other, and you’re not going to have one without
the other.
You see, that’s why the Bible says many are called but few
are chosen. Because the ones that are called (glory to God)
they won’t be able to handle the warfare. But the ones that
are chosen are going to be called and chosen at the same time.
They can handle the warfare for the blessing of the promise.
Look at your Bibles.
2. Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan,
which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their
fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them.
3. And Moses by the commandment of the LORD sent them
from the wilderness of Paran: all those men were heads of the
children of Israel.
Wait a minute. Somebody say he sent leadership. See,
leadership got to say what you say. And leadership got to see
what you see. Oh, you don’t want to talk to me today. But
I’m going to preach it anyway.
He sent the heads, the ones that were supposed to have his
spirit, the ones that were supposed to know that he was a man
of God can that hear from God. But they came back with the
wrong report.
See, if you don’t have folks that got the same report you got,
then you going to be in for some problems. If you got folks
that can’t see the vision the way you see the vision, you going
to have some problems.
They saw the warfare. They said, “Yeah, the land does flow
with milk and honey just like you said. But there are giants in
the land.” Are you afraid of the giants? You see, the door has
been opened for you. But are you afraid of the giants? Are
you afraid of the warfare that comes with the blessing? Can
you handle the warfare with the blessing?
You know, sometimes people look at you like you preaching
something elementary. But when it’s elementary and they
ain’t walking in it yet... Oh, you don’t want to talk to me.
When you walk in it, then you come talk to me.
The warfare went along with the open door. Somebody needs
to hear that today. Because God opened up a door for you.
But there’s warfare in the house, in the place, wherever it is.
And now you want to go home. You don’t want it no more.
You done praised God for the prophecy. Glory to God.
Hallelujah. You done danced and you done shouted. My
God. The roof couldn’t even contain your shout. Glory to
God. All the community heard you shouting and kicking and
screaming. But now that the door has been opened and you
see what goes along with the promise, you don’t want it no
more.
When God opens up the door He will equip you for the
warfare inside of that door. He is not going to cause you to
go through that door and not have you ready for the battle.
He will allow the warfare to be there so that you can continue
to call on His Name. That’s why the warfare’s there.
Because He don’t want you to get in there and say, “Okay, I
don’t need You no more, God.” He wants you to stay on your
knees. That’s why the warfare’s there.
See, many times we get the blessing. And we don’t want God
no more. We don’t want to pray no more. We don’t want to
come to Father God... Oh, you don’t want to talk to me today,
but I’m going to preach anyway. We don’t want to pray.
That’s why we go through so much.
You know, I would ask the Lord a lot of times, I say, “Lord,
why do I go through this? Why do I go through some of the
things that I go through?”
And the Lord began to minister to me, “Because you don’t
pray as much as I want you to pray. So when I got warfare in
the midst you going to pray a little while longer. You going
to be on your knees a little while longer.”
I say, “Okay, Lord. Teach me to stay on my knees anyhow,
whether I’m being blessed or whether my adversary is coming
against me. Teach me to be consistent in You.” Somebody
needs to hear that today. “Teach me to be consistent in my
communication with You, no matter what’s going on in my
life.”
Get a little money in my pocket. He won’t see me. Drive a
new car. He won’t see me. Get a new house. He won’t see
me, because I got to stay home, and I got to fix it up a little
bit. Get a new job. He won’t see me. Because I’m making
more money now, so I got to spend more time on the job.
Who am I preaching to today? Heal my body. He won’t see
me. Because now I can walk around town and do what I want
to do, because I’m healed.
When He opens up a door there’s going to be warfare.
There’s going to be warfare. But know that you are equipped
for whatever is inside of that door. When you enter into that
door, you enter into it by faith.
When Paul said that there was a door opened for him, an
effectual, he said, “But there are many adversaries. He didn’t
know exactly what the warfare was going to be. All he knew
is that it was going to be a battle. But he knew by faith that
the victory was already his. Because when God opens up the
door, the victory is already yours. All you got to do is walk
into the place.
He already knew that God would take care of him. You got to
know that God is going to take care of you. He’ll take care of
you.
In Romans five and verse two it tells me I have access by
faith into this grace wherein I stand and rejoice in the hope of
the glory of God. God has given us access. And the Bible
tells us that He has blessed us with all spiritual blessings. He
has even given us access into the realm of the Spirit.
And He has even given us power. For whatsoever we bind on
earth is bound in heaven. Whatsoever we loose on earth is
loosed in heaven. We even have power in the spirit realm,
that realm that you cannot see. He gave you access and He
gave you power.
There should not be any devil in hell that can hold us down.
No devil in hell should be able to conquer you. Because
you’re more than a conqueror. Not one single devil. The
weapons may form, but remember they can’t prosper.
The warfare can only be for so long, when you speak the
Word against the devil. He’s got to bow his knee. That’s
why we’ve got to learn the Word, to study to show ourselves
approved. Otherwise the devil will continue to beat us up and
to beat us down.
And sometimes we even know the Word and we refuse to
speak the Word. Why? You have the major weapon to
destroy the works of the devil, to keep them out of your house
and my house. Why does he still get a stronghold? Because
we only speak the Word when we think we need the Word.
See, you may not be in a place right now where you need
healing in your body. But you need to speak healing over you
body every day. “I’m healed by the stripes of Jesus Christ.”
You may not want for anything right now. But you need to
still say, “My God shall supply all of my needs.” Don’t wait
until you... Don’t wait until the devil all up on you.
All the time I’m waiting I’m giving him access. I got to keep
him back. I got to push him back. I got to keep him away
from me, and all that concerns me.
In Hebrews three and verse nineteen, it tells us the children of
Israel could not enter into the door because of unbelief. See,
unbelief will keep us out of the door. If God told you He’d
open up the door, believe He open the door. Believe that God
has opened up the door.
Did God close the door because of their unbelief? No. Their
unbelief kept them out the door. The door was still open. It
kept them out.
What door has God told you He’s opened for you? But
because of your unbelief you have not been able to enter in.
Because we have a head belief and not a heart belief.
We have the right, and we have the ability to get inside of the
door and to stay inside the door.
In Revelations three and verse eight He told the church of
Philadelphia, “I have set before thee an open door that no man
can shut. I have set before you an open door that no man can
shut.”
If God places an open door before you, and He tells you that
no man can shut it, I don’t care what the devil is saying. I
don’t care what the devil is doing. He can’t shut that door.
That door will remain open. But it’s up to us to enter in, to
enter in by faith.
What door have you allowed to open that’s not of God? And
what door have you opened, but you have not entered into?
Think about it. Don’t just let this be a message with a man
standing before you preaching. Think about it.
Some of us should be way further than what we are now. But
when doors open we’re afraid to go through the doors.
We enter in by faith. We stay in by faith. And when you
know you’ve opened up a door to Satan, get him out by faith
in the Word of God. Speak the word and tell the devil he got
to go. Tell him. Whenever he has a foothold, tell him he’s
got to go.
Everything that concerns you, He gives His angels charge
over you, to keep you in all of your ways. Not some of your
ways. But every single one of your ways. Every single one
of them. Every single one of your ways. They have charge
over you to protect you, to provide for you. They have charge
over you to watch over everything.
Think about it. Think about it. Has God opened up a door for
you, but you’ve let the door close on you? Your season is
coming back around again. But see, when the doors open this
time, don’t be afraid to go through it. Walk on through it.
Walk on through it. Walk on through it. And get on your
knees. Because there’s going to be some warfare.
But know that that promise belongs to you. That blessing is
your. Just receive it in Jesus’ Name.
Come on. Give God a handclap of praise today.
